I was in a situation last winter in GI where a 1/4 oz jighead fell too fast and an 1/8 oz too slow. Two 1/8 oz rigged in tandem combined with the bouyancy of the plastic made all the difference and allowed me to catch most of a limit of trout when others were not. Variety is the spice of life!

At one time I loved double rigs! But for the most part I caught smaller trout with them.

It's been awhile since I didn't catch 20+ trout on a trip using a limited amount of lures. I catch and "release" redfish and have had days I couldn't hook one to save my life. "But I don't eat drum anyway lol"
