Hey Steve: Thanks for the post about following you down to Leeville on Friday. I PMed Physco Joe about following him down and also GLWLSU offered to get together to follow him down. Lots of really great guys in this club. Anyways, what time are you thinking about driving thru Metairie on Friday? I don't know what time I can pull out yet but if it works out I'd appreciate the oppurtunity to follow you down. Any sug. on where I could stay the night? Thanks,, Mike

I see you are wanting to get a proangler too! Today I talked to the guy in Mobile and it is still for sale. He said it was only used 3 times and has a few extras plus a trailer while I don't want. He gave me a decent price and I'm thinking about doing a road trip out there. He said he has several ponds on his property and said he can let me try it out in one of his ponds. I recently sold my little sailboat, so I now have the cash, still a difficult decision, maybe it will be easier when I take a good look at it. I'm still a newbie and I kinda think its too soon to go out and get something like this, But I really like the dam yak. I just wanted to share this with you and maybe you might have some advice for me or a word of caution I might not be aware of.
Keep selling stuff thats how I did it too. Maybe we can do some fishing in the same area sometime. I also talked to the guy in Corpis Cristi too.

Sorry for late report, but been buried in golf...

Caught 1 keeper trout on Sunday at trestles on north side. Ran into Michael and Flatstalker...TM performed fine, but steering was loose. Not sure why (maybe height setting change allowed for slack) but think a minor tweak will cure issue. Thinking about getting some type of clasp that will allow me to adjust cable length easily.

Couple of boats at launch returned with multiple 4-5 lb trout. They had fished trestles on south side.

May fish in RR...will know more by Friday...

Wolverine and I would be most appreciative of 2 spots on your porch for Saturday night after the fish fry. After starting at 5 am and going all day then wanting to visit with everyone, think it may be better not to try and make the 3 hr drive back to Slidell. Let me know if the offer still stands, we will bring cots and sleeping bags.
