What are you getting now? I am really starting to appreciate my Commander, but it's not my only yak. I will be going "old skool" for RR.

Any idea what your looking to get for it?

Did you sell it yet?

I'd be interested in the front skirt for it if you would consider seperating it.

I wish WS would come out with A 14'-16' Commander. I'd buy another one.

I have learned to love the Commander, but look forward to the space and size of a PA

The Commander has a ton of room compared to my Ride. I just need a little more weight capacity due to having a 24 series deep cycle up front between my feet and 6 or 7 tackle trays even further forward than that. Couple that with a motor and a 48qt with 20#'s of ice and hopefully some fish, and I'm displacing some water in a 12' boat. It would be perfect for Julie. Sure hope they come out with the "rumored" bigger version.

I bought a kayak trolling motor, but have not tried it yet, because I hate having all that weight in the boat with me. I am saving it for winter, when I need to get to the trout!

In speaking with Battery Doc this weekend he recommended giving him a call with the amps on high for a trolling motor and he could recommend a "wheel chair" battery that weighs about half that of a regular battery and would also be a sealed battery.

Might be worth checking into for both of you guys so you might give him a call.

I meant to, should have, spent some more time talking with him Saturday. That was one of the things I wanted to pick his brain about, actually.
