Just picked up yesterday's paper in Thibodaux. Oil is in Lake Felicity for sure and possibly in Lake Chein. That put's it about 5 miles from the mouth of Bayou Chein or 7 miles from Point Aux Chein.

I can't begin to say how upsetting that is.

Fish PAC_WMA while you can ....

Can't they close the water control structures to protect the WMA?

I thought the WMA would be the only place oil wouldn't go no matter how bad it got.

Talked to a friend who has a camp in Grand Isle and the marshes and power lines that are behind Fourchon are not effected yet. PRAY!

My family has a camp in Montegut. Any word on if the oil has contaminated that area?

Brother-in-law told me there is oil in Lake Boudreaux, northwest of Cocodrie. It's gonna get anywhere the tide will take it, so get ready.

In theory yes. Course I'm still trying to figure out how that sea turtle got in there two years ago.... Oh yeah right over the road about 4 times a year when it gets submerged....

If it's in Boudreaux already it's way worse than any of us know. Nothing in the local news or grapevine about that yet but I'll keep listening.
