I was wanting some input, if anybody has any, on the shimano citica baitcast reel? I was looking at purchasing one for a little salt/freshwater fishing. If anybody has any input it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Gus's Net & Tackle has an everyday price of $90 on them...I think. Lowest around...

That is an awesome price. Think I paid around $120 at Academy

yea, great reel, i own two of them one spooled with mono & one with 20lb braid

they are very durable reels and at the time I was buying two so I couldn't afford the extra 50 bucks each for the curado (however I would recommend the curado, better parts)

If you get the citica check out this link

check Bowie Outfitters they are the cheapest in Baton Rouge area, with that being said if Ya can spare it the Curado for about $30.00 more is the best reel prolly made, if in Bowie's check the Cajun Limb rods they are made locally and the maker is now a club member and sponsor
