I went down this afternoon around 4 to check things out. About a dozen guys & a couple of girls were at the end of Island Rd. before you get on the island and they were throwing cast nets catching shrimp. One guy said last night, they turned on around 9pm and he wound up catching $250 worth of shrimp. The bait is in and the fish are on. Come down and catch'em while they're hot!!

Which is BTW technically illegal. WMA closes at dusk and opens at dawn. Doesn't stop the locals but folks go to jail every year for playing that little game. I know some of em too....

How did your route turn out? I've never gone that way.
