I was supposed to fish this morning with Hobie1 but had a student sign up for a class late yesterday. So far I will plan to fish MRGO dam early in the morning. I plan on launching about 5:15 to be out to the dam for 5:30. Reports are saying that most of the trout are being caught early and I would like to get some for the freezer if or before this oil moves in. If anyone is interested let me know. Like I said these are my plans as of right now, but with the warmer weather if I have a student sign up I may need to cancel. Hope to see some of you guys out tomorrow, lets try get em while we can.

You're killing me. If I don't go out into Delacroix in a stinkpot, look for me at the dam on Saturday morning. That is if we can fish there Saturday.

I will probably be heading that way tomorrow. I'm bringing my brother along as well. We will probably head out a little later though. See you on the water.

I will say that the bite seemed to slow down later in the day but tomorrow will be a completely different conditions. Will look for you guys on the water tomorrow.

ReelThrill, do you launch at BSM? How far/long is the paddle to the dam?

It's about a mile 2 miles round trip. Make sure and check the weather though, the MRGO can get pretty nasty with a NW or SE wind.
