Could probably change size and hold more bait...

That is pretty slick. There baits must be larger than ours - we can fit a lot more than 5 minnows in a length of PVC. Cool idea.

Heard of them but never used them. Less drag than one if those flow through buckets for you kayakers.

I have tried a bait tube. I didn't like all the noise it made banging against the hull...IT WAS AGGRAVATING!!!

They use cigar minnows for bait.

I used one for the first time at PPVII and didn't have any problems with it except where to put bait when moving from spot to spot. We fished 5 or 6 spots.

I have made a couple but wasn't a fan. Like idunno and psycho joe said moving around and the banging is what i didn't like.

I built one that works well. I modified the design a bit though. Instead of fastening it to the yak at both ends, i tied a float to the end and drag it like a stringer.
It works really well from minows and cost about $5 to make.
I will send you pics of mine if you would like.

Sounds like a cool idea.I thought about those flow through buckets, but then I thought about the drag. Please let me know of a better way!
