Enrico Puglisi's materials recently. I just think they are a whole lot of fun to use and they tie some sexy flies. While I don't think these are perfect by any means, I figured that I'd post some pictures and I will be happy to give the steps for any of these if y'all want them....

Just the photos of them should be hanging in an art gallery. NICE.

Real nice flies. I second the field testing idea! You are very talented, my friend.

Ha thanks guys. Hanging in a gallery is the last thing they need to be doing though-the only gratification I want is to see them hanging of of the corner of a red's mouth...that being said, let me check my materials and figure out when I can come down there again. If its going to be a while, then I may be inclined to mail some just to see if they get eaten.

You should have seen the first bunch, you'd have sworn I used the whole damn pack. I'm trying to thin them out but they just never seem as bulky before they're trimmed. Any advice?

I just make it a point to use less material than i think i need. alot goes a long way with ep fibers. I also make sure that i can still see through the flies. its just my opinion though. some people prefer them packed like deer hair. to each their own.

No doubt. I like them more sparse, I just get carried away. I have a long standing history with the motto "if one is good, then five is better"

Very common problem. I've been tying with EPs stuff for a couple years. Still I struggle to use less. And make no mistake - less is better. Might look into flytiersdungeon I understand Congo Hair is almost identical at... 1/5 of the price.
