Trying to find some Trout this Sunday. I used to float across Hopedale Lagoon popping a plastic under a cork and hit all the trout I wanted. Is this still working? Anybody want to go?
Otherwise, I'm thinking of picking up some live shrimp at Bait Inc, launching on the beach at Hwy 11, and heading over to the trestles and/or up the Hwy 11 bridge. Winds and tides look favorable. Anybody try this lately and want to try again?

Chief, I was planning to go either tommorrow or Monday myself to the trestle. I'll meet you up if you decide to go tomorrow.
Derrelt, me and a buddy went to Joshua yesterday and only managed one trout. We did however ended up with 6 red and a bull drum. The water in buras right is extremely bad. All the oyster fisherman and shrimp skiff are out there right now. The water visibility was probably 4 inches. You can clearly see the path of the shrimp boats or oyster boat. There was a dark red trail following them that made the water even worse. Everyone is trying to get what they can before the oil shut down everything.

May have just made up my mind. Where are you launching from and what time? Are you going to use live bate?

Plans got changed on me and I'm heading to Magnolia tomorrow after all; I'll be there about 7. Tide will just begin falling at that time and through the day.
Please let me know how you did if you fish the trestles or Hwy 11. I understand that Bait Inc has live everything. I'm looking to the next holiday weekend to go out Sunday or Monday.

We decided to go to Mag also. Last night Walleye talked to a friend (good fisherman) that fished the lake today in a stink pot and did nothing. He fishes the bridges all the time and says there was very little tide movement and going to be less today. We are planing on launching at about 6 am.
