View Full Version : Hopedale Hookup 22/5/2010

Just got back from a trip out of town and need to get on some fish. Gonna search around Hopedale early to look for some trout and after that the rock dam for looking for some Redfish action. Anyone else planning on fishing this Saturday? If anyone is interested in meeting up let me know. Not gonna be much of a tidal movement but that has never stopped me before in Hopedale. Hope to see some of you guys on the water.

Better check it. I may be wrong, but I think the dam is one of the areas closed to fishing.

Try Lake St Catherine, part of Hopedale is closed.

According to the maps from yesterday Hopedale is still open. Don't know if it will be closed on Saturday, but will wait and see. Thanks for the heads up though.

Razoryak, I will continue to monitor to see if they close it. As of now though, I will plan on being at Campo's Marina for 5am to get some fresh shrimp. After that I'll go over to Pips or BSM and plan to launch at 5:30. I am taking shrimp because most of the reports I see coming from there are saying thats what their catching the trout with. Will give you a call this afternoon to work out a plan of action.
