I did not get to see the whole game(just parts of it). The wife was not happy and had the remote. I was doing some work on the computer (had real time scoring in the corner of the screen). Seems to me the WAVE was rolling.

Actually, we've split the last two seasons, but who's counting? Nonetheless, you are in a much better position this year than us, despite your current slump. You just need to beat bottom feeder Miss St. this weekend (or get help) to sneak into the SEC tournament. Even if you don't, as defending champs, you'll almost certainly get an invite to a regional. We're in an almost identical situation as far as getting into our conference tournament goes, but the only way to get to a regional would be to win the tourney. That would mean getting over a very big bump in the road called Rice. Not likely.

As for us ever dropping divisions, it's best to take anything you read on "Tiger Rant" with a grain of salt. ;)

More like a bucket of salt, rumors spread faster on that board than on Gossip Girl.

Where is LSU's pitching BTW? Why do all our recruits skip college and head to the pros?

Don't read the rant. Weenies are on their way out. Your President (looks like a frog) is more into the academic side. Look at your great football coach. Where else would he be coaching ? Don't think that regional is headed to BR. Nothing is guaranteed in NCAA. I'm not sure we can beat MSU. Hell we lost to TULANE and they suck big time !!! We have no leaders on the team. Looked like Landry might have had a chance at the HR but he didn't even get back to the fence. Not sure we want to see post season could get ugly fast. Thanks Greenwave for pissing me off so early in the AM !!!!

Hell Green Wave, you got them as stirred up as I do. LSU fans can be really hard on a guy when things don't go there way. I guess they don't realize they only have 2 wins in there last 15 games.
:hide:

By the way, I know BAMA is not any better. they have the same record in conference. But we don't claim to be a baseball power.

Well, as Gairi points out, we don't have much to cheer about, so I have to take the opportunity when it comes. We're 31-22, with a poor conference record and few post season hopes. And truthfully, I'm not counting LSU out just yet. The bats are still there, just slumping. If Ranaudo can just be Ranaudo again, they'll be a dangerous tournament team.
