Where are the trestles and how far of a paddle is it? I've heard about that area for years and never knew which trestles people were referring to.

It's the tracks off of Hwy 11 on northshore. Put in right after you get off bridge. Short paddle bvut lake can kick up fast. Frank Davis was out there Thursday and there is a article in May issue of Marsh & Bay.

Ft. Pike is where I usually launch, but it may be closed. You can launch at Rigolets Marina, but it is too far to paddle to the trestles. To fish the trestles you can launch on the south shore of the hwy 11 bridge at Tites, or on the north side of the bridge off of the beech. My brother fished the trestles last week in his stinkpot. He caught 3 trout.

I park at the public fishing area on the southside of Hwy 11 bridge. You can fish the old and new bridge. You can fish the shoreline as well.

Unless Major wind I'll be there on Sat. Will launch somewhere when you get off Hwy 11 headed into slidell. I hear there are a few spots.
