Hello everyone! What paddle(s) do you use and why do you prefer that particular one? I am starting my gear up stage and want some input!

I like the Carlisle Magic Plus (fiberglass shaft). It's light weight and has just the right amount of flex in it when paddling. Academy sells the 120 length for around $69 last time I checked.. I'm 5'10" and use the 130 length. Wanna try it before you buy, let me know.

Carlisle Magic is a great choice @ under $100.00. I'm not real familiar with all available options but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Magic if I was in the market.

edit...that's a 220cm paddle

Whoops! It's been so long since i've held the paddle I've forgotten most of what I thought I knew... It's probably dry rotten by now!
