I realized that I received a PDF map of the closure areas in my email. It has a little better quality than most of the other maps I've seen posted elsewhere so I zoomed and cropped the area of concern for PPVI.
Meanwhile here's the pertinent verbiage concerning the closure for the lower Lafourche area. We already know you have to stay out of the Gulf and off of the beaches. Beyond that the closure as it affects lower Lafourche begins on the western shore of Bayou Lafourche and goes west from there.
So far it seems that very few honey-holes would be off limits. It appears that 99% of our normal PP fishing areas are currently open. Stay tuned for changes and cross your fingers (and toes).
