Tied some poppers

After a couple of fun river trips, I decided to tie a few balsa poppers. Tried to imitate the Betts poppers. I've got some more practicing to do. Probably more of a patience problem though. Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

They look good to me. Check Catch's site for any of Ron Braud's popper post. He may have posted tips. I'm sure you have seen his poppers. They are as good as it gets. I have about 30 foam heads mounted on hooks. Our trip took its toll on my popper supply. I don't want to spend more time on mine than it took to lose one, so I am keeping it simple.

Looks good to me... I haven't had time to do any fly tying in a while. Spun a few deer hair poppers a while back, but not enough to get good at it. Been wanting to tie some Crease flies. There's just something about a crease fly that I like.
