I am going to trey fishing the Bayou Lacombe area at the end of Lake Rd. on Monday morning. As always ALL are welcome to join me.

Ok, I will be launching at the end of Lake Rd. in Lacombe at or before 6am in the morning. If I find the fish I will post something tomorrow night.

skunked in Lacombe today. The wind kicked up and lake p got ugly.

Yeah, I gave Lacombe a try Saturday morning and had the same result. The Weather Channel said the winds where supposed to be light and blowing out of the North - which would have been GREAT for the end of Lake Rd. When I got there, the winds were howling out of the South and the water was dirty, dirty, dirty. Every time I paddled out a bit, I was able to get about two casts before the wind and waves took me right back.

On a good note, I did learn to "surf" in my yak. Lol.

PAC report Hit water at 1:00 fished til about six First fish nice speck (suicide) no more caught lots around... 9 reds two hugh took three home rest were puppies or right at 16. Small ones were very health. One I took home largest was 22. tails were ragged and bellies were marked up pretty good. Looked to be a rough winter for the ones I caught. Lots of shrimp boats headed out and bait fish were everywhere...
