Leaving Baton Rouge by 5 (hopefully) and fishing somewhere down there..probably north of first bridge past fourchon who knows...anyone fishing tomorrow?

I'll be down there early tomorrow. I've got a pewter GMC C3 truck and a sand colored Hobie Pro Angler. I'll be fishing before you get to the bridge past Fourchon, but on the gulf side of the road. This is a map of where I'll be at. Round trip is about 4 miles!

Thought that area was gated off right at the highway and private property. Maybe it's just the borrow pits they are trying to keep you out of.

It's gated to keep people out from the FAA beacon, but you can let in from the road and head to the ponds. Lots of 2"-3" shrimp everywhere today and tons of reds. Only one speck

Yes, but there will run you out if they catch you past the gates..one of my camp neighbors was told to leave about 2 weeks ago after he was catching fish in there of course.
