I am new to this kayak community. I am looking forward to making some new kayak fishing contacts here and gathering some tip and tricks and sharing mine as well. Just alittle about myself. I live in Metairie, La. "Bucktown" for the locals. I own Hobie Pro Angler which I have christened the money pit. Hope to see you on the water!

Join the club and come to family day, August 6th.

Great time to meet everyone and demo kayaks. Good time and good food.

:welcome:

Yer gonna luv it here.

Please forgive the slow response to your post. Seems there was a tournament this weekend and people are distracted.

The Pro-Angler? A money pit? Nah... buy ANY boat with a motor and you'll see what a real money pit is. Once you get a yak set up, the annual maintenance should only cost a few dollars a year. Beats the heck out of changing lower unit oil, tune-ups, repairing bent propellers, replacing fuel lines and filters that ethanol has destroyed, etc...

Anywho... WELCOME to the club and by the way... nice choice for a first yak!

Hobie rocks! :buttrock:

Definitely a nice yak.

Welcome to the site... As Joe said, come to the Family Day. You don't have to be a member of the club, ALL are welcome.
