Closer than GI from Gonzales...
In general:
Dularge, Dulac, Montegut, Chauvin, Pointe Aux Chenes, Cocodrie, Reggio, Delacroix, Cut Off, Galliano, Golden Meadow, Leeville, ad nauseam.

There is a highly detailed Member Maps section, actual Fishing Reports section, etc. that are only accessible by full members. The maps alone are worth more than the $25 membership fee, and the Fishing Reports can make your next trip easier to plan. Knowing exactly where an area is and what's currently happening in that specific area can be invaluable to a kayak angler.

Welcome to the addiction...and join the club.

There are also able opportunities around the rigolets to catch specks, reds, flounder, and more. There's Rigolet's Marina, Lake Catherine Marina, The Dock in Slidell, and numerous other locations that are 1/2 the drive to GI.

AS said previously, join the club to take advantage of the member's map page.

We have paid over $115 in members dues so far. Its not a question of IF I will renew next year it is WHEN I will renew. 25$ is a small price to pay to keep this site running, meeting tons of new fishing partners, functions we have, information that I get, and a group of people that I can share my passion with. It all depends on how much YOU want to get out of the club. The more active you are the more fun you will have. Come to events and tournament, take newbies out. Its so fun watching new people catch their first fish out the kayak.
