After two days of a horrible bitter taste in my mouth where everything taste bitter, I finally decided to google "everything taste bitter" and found to my delight that the problem is most likely a reaction to pine nuts --- either good ones where the oil in them went rancid or more likely, a variety from China that shouldn't be eaten or sold. But,:frown: like Chinese drywall, they get though.
I ate two handfulls of pine nuts at a 4th of July party. The symptoms showed up the day after and are expected to last 1 - 4 weeks! OMG the thought of a shrimp poorboy tasting like a $hit sandwich makes me want to go on a diet till my taste buds return to normal.
