Anyone fished it? Any suggestions? Will likely be solo so not interested in any offshore adventures...any ideas appreciated as always.

I normally fish further east past Destin at Santa Rosa Beach. When fishing off the beach, if I could only bring one lure for any season, it would be a Krockodile Spoon. Reds and pompano will readily eat this thing (among other fish). Fish like you would for any species here in Louisiana. Look for drop offs and wash outs and see what happens. The problem for most folks is culling through trash fish (bluefish, ladies, etc), but I really enjoy catching them. If you don't mind soaking bait, then pick up a sand flea scoop and dig up some bait at the shore breaks. You can buy a pompano rig and/or scoop at any store...I've seen them at gas stations. If you don't feel like doing that, then people have been catching reds on market shrimp recently. As for the bayside of Fort Morgan, I can't be of any help.
