I bought a couple of new reels out of Bargain Cave yesterday.

I bought a Curado 201E7 for 141.00, not an incredible buy, but brand new just was returned with a damaged box.

I bought a Revo STX also. It was $199.00 marked down to $103.00 because of a damaged box when returned.

I knew both were good reels so I wasn't worried about reviews. But I did research after I bought them because I was wondering about the drag because some said it may not truly be 24#'s of drag. Well I read the review of the Revo Inshore and was REALLY impressed. I am posting it in case anyone was interested. I will be adding one of these for reds after my Chandeleur trip this month.

I wanted one when they were on sale, but they only had right hands on sale, no leftys. I am right handed but trained myself to reel left handed on baitcasters.

I hope you like the review

Bought a new Revo Inshore a couple of weeks ago for $129. Havn't tried it yet, but am sure I will like it.

I had a Revo and gave it to my son He loves it, but I am a fan of the Curado

I bought one on sale thanks to the forum alert. It's the best reel I've ever owned. Smooth and tough. Caught my first big redfish (25") on it last week in the East. Great drag and great casting ability.

I bought an Inshore a couple years back. Seems to me it doesn't like to cast very far compared to say a 6500.
Might be pole issues though.

I have an Inshore also. I absolutely love my reel. I have not had any problems landing fish. I paired mine up with an All Star ASR rod and I can't wait to a couple more.

I do not have a problem casting mine until I try to use something that weighs less than 1/4 oz. since that is what the rod is rated for.

My biggest red to date is 28 1/2 inches and weighed just shy of 10 lbs. I had no problems fighting and landing him.
