This is my version of a Visipole. ReelRebel gave me the idea for the flag. Academy has the flags on sale for $4.88 right now. I drilled a hole in the pvc and used some bungee to attach the flag.

Put a reflective trim around that flag and that'll be awesome.

Safety flags are supposed to be RED (with a big white A in the middle like mine).:hide:

Those flags are garbage. You can't see crimson as well as you can see the gold.

Gold just blends in with the marsh back ground. Just sayin.

2 points of reference for both of you...
1. Red flags in the marsh are as visible as coeds in The Grove on a fall Saturday morning!
2. Next to orange (which only a hillbilly would use), red is the most visible color!

Right now I have the Hobie safety flag. I would like to attach a light above and replace the flag; but I can't decide which one: American, Saints Tulane or LSU. What I would really like is a Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club flag. Are they available? If not can we get someone to make them? I am sure others may want them.

Maybe under the BCKFC flag we could get some of those pendants that show which species of fish you've caught - like the offshore guys. Hmmmmm......... never mind...... I've never seen a HardHead or a StingRay flag. Guess I don't need any flags.
