I am looking for a big boy boat for frogging and fishing around my camp and need a kayak for your big eater sized guy. Both kayaks are of interest to me and want to find deciding factors.

Both kayaks will hold a ton. I had an x factor and would load that thing up with everything known to man. Stealth would be cool to put frogs in the well.

The x factor will hold just about anyone or anything you can put in it. I have an x factor and definitely test the weight capacity on most yaks but not the x factor it super stable and paddles very good considering the it is 33" wide.

Find a way to demo each of them so you can determine if one fits your needs a bit better. Can't help you with the X Factor since I have not been in one, but I do like my Big Game.

Make sure and do your research before purchasing a stealth. One of our members is having a major issue with water getting in his and apparently Malibu is not being very helpful.

And three others have them with no issues.

Test both and get the one you think fits your needs the best. It's that simple.

You are welcome to try my x factor if you want too. Pm me and we can set something up my schedule is semi flexible so meeting up should not be that big of an issue.

My brother has two Malibu's and loves them. I don't like them much at all. the Seat is very uncomfortable for me the hatch rubs up against my thighs. Hate is a strong word but not far from it.

See my response back in my boat for sale thread. I like the Big Game - I grew to like it over time. If I had to have one kayak it would be the one hands down. Other boats are faster, few are more stable (those that are are eityher prohibitively slow, or expensive, or both).

I have stood and fished in mine for hours at a stretch. I've covered a mile of marsh without sitting down once.

I've haulded two kids in it many times, I've fished it in waves, in the calm, I've caught some really big reds in the marsh and plenty of trout all over the place. My next boat will be another Big Game:buttrock:

For a big guy, try the X-factor, you will enjoy it. If you add a rudder, it makes all the difference in the boat. The Pro Angler will give you more "wet line time", but the Kool-Aid don't come cheap, compared to the x-factor.
Demo, demo, demo then demo some more. A new xfactor with seat (not included), paddle and some other basics is not that much less than an Outback.
Just check them out and make your own decision.
