Golden Meadow fishing 4-24

I will working in Golden Meadow Friday so I plan to spend the night and put in Saturday morning at the public launch to see what I can do. I will be driving a Gray Saturn Vue with a roof rack and pulling a black trailer with my 14ft Heritage Redfish. Anyone interested in joining me, the more the merrier.

I plan on going Saturday but i launch at the paid launch in Catfish lake (not sure of the name). Hope the rain holds out until the afternoon.

Where is the paid launch? What is the cost of the launch of a kayak?

The paid launch is just a mile or so down the road. I know the cost to launch a boat is $5. I have never launched my yak there, but hopefully will this Saturday.

I KNOW THE PAY LAUNCH, IT'S $5 FOR KAYAKS ALSO. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE GOING IT MAY BE MORE A STRAIGHT SHOT. DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER I MAY PUT IN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT THE PUBLIC LAUNCH AND MAY TRY THE PAY LAUNCH SATURDAY DEPENDING ON HOW I DO FRIDAY. HOPE TO SEE Y'ALL THERE.

I usually fish the area by the paid launch. I am planning on fishing either Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather.
