Someone said something a while back about a hook-up / impromptu get together at Bobby Lynn's before PPVII. Am I right about this? I can't find the thread.

I made that suggestion, but only a few people had any interest at the time, but if we can get some guys togather Bobby and Terry will help us with a few gifts. I am tied up this weekend but the next weekend would be great for me!

Looking ahead the weather does not look like we will be able to fish this weekend. If there is an break in the weather< I plan on going to Leeville, but will not be sure what day until we get closer.

There's a big sign at the turn to go to Port Fourchon (on the right). I believe the sign is white with blue letters.

Yeah, weather doesn't look so hot for Saturday. Winds up to 18 mph out of the South and up to 30% chance of thunderstorms according to Wunderground. Which probably means 25-30 mph winds. I'm still planning to fish on Saturday, just hoping something happens and the weather changes by then. 30% isn't really that bad.

I wasn't fishing this past weekend but was at the camp doing some work. I can tell you that Friday afternoon and Saturday morning had winds at 19-22 mph and gust hitting as high as 35 mph (all clocked on my weather station). I thought I was in a hurricane on Saturday AM lol. Sunday however was beautiful with winds about 7 mph and really nice day. Needless to say no bugs!

yeah, the bugs were all blown up here. The gnats have been alot worse lately than I can ever remember.

breamkiller, idunno and I are planning on making a trip down hwy 1 Saturday. How far down hwy1 we go has not been decided yet. I guess it depends on the weather.
