Seem like each time I go out, I see a little more of this shaft coming out of the fin on the drive. Is this a problem? How do you fix it?

Take out the fins and bend it back. It's too shallow and you are probably hitting the ground.

Don't try to bend it back straight while still attached! Take it out first as Coomz advised.

Took the fin off first then bent it back. Are you saying take the rod (mast?) out 1st? I didn't do that, just bent it back streight.
Looks ok now.

Some of the guys on TKF have complained about "losing fins" from something similar to that. That brass thunbscrew has a tendency to back out on it's own loosening up enough for the fin to come loose.

In my case the pin was still in tacked just like the pic shows. It's like the pin and thumbscrew slipped out. After paddling the PA for 2 1/2 miles I started playing with it again I switched the front fin with the back fin (not bcuz i thought it would work just cuz i was tired of paddling that big SOB) and to my surprise it worked I peddled another 3 miles with no prob (ooh and I didn't even get a bite)

WOW! I gripe and complain if I have to paddle it more than about 50 yds! They seriously need a LONGER paddle for the PA's, I hate having to lean side to side just to paddle the beast.
