It is true we,Cubs, are always coming up second to the cardinals.
We were behind you for number of players using steroids, amount of steroids being used, Coaches who pass out at redlights because they fall asleep drunk at the wheel. Besides how can you not pull for the cubs with Theriot and Fontenot. If you were not talking about the cardinals then I am sorry, but not really I still hate the cardinals.

I am pretty bummed, my boss told me this morning. He knows I had a tournament so he is trying to bribe me with cubs tickets. I am trying to get out of going. What gets my goat is if I miss a day I have to take a vacation day, but if they take 2 days away from me I don't get anything extra time off. It seems that as the economy got worse, employeers are treating thier workers worse, because they know jobs are hard to come by. I think my dog may have to have open heart surgery, or maybe my hamster is getting baptized. I need some swamppro excuse to get out of this trip.

Not attending since "Cypress Bass" lobbied to have the tourney held on the day my daughter graduates from college.
(He secretly fears the competition I'd offer.)

One of the boyz and his friend MAY be headed down there. I'll try to get an answer from him ASAP. If they head down there I'd truly appreciate ya'll keeping an eye on them. It'll be their first solo "big trip."

Easy on the Cubbies.
Look we got a black president, a white mayor (N.O.), the saints have won the superbowl, anything is possible. Last year was a building year (we say this annually). I really thought saints fans would understand, but then again you only had to wait 30 few years, not the century plus we have. And as a cubs fan I honestly hope every year they don't come out to a fast start, they only break my heart earlier in the season that way.
