Hi,
I live in France and I spend almost all my free time in Fishing and writing fishing reports for my blog and for a magazine called Predators.
I use lures only, no live baits. I do have a kayak but I use a float tube.
The reason why I suscribed to this forum is that after seeing the your gallery of photo, I plan to come to the US to make a report on kayak fishing for the magazine Predators. I am therefore looking for people on this forum that would be willing to help me.
Kind regards,
marshdaddy

Welcome, Freeman! We here in your former colony love to fish and cook what we catch. Someone from our club is usually going fishing and would be happy for you to come along.

BCKFC going worldwide!!!
We'd love to have you over to fish the Louisiana marshes with us. If you go back through my posts, you'll see that I'm NOT the one you'd want for a guide; but there are quite a few on here who I am sure would take you out for some great days of Louisiana fishing.

Cool! I brought my wifes cousin who came in from Nantes fishing last summer. So we already have some experience putting French anglers on LA fish. Come on over.

Welcome aboard, depending on your schedule, you may want to consider trying to schedule your trip around one of the member tournaments, I'm sure you will get plenty of volunteers for a pretrip, and then you can experience a club tourney. I recommend Falling tide, That was my first tournament and a great overall experience.

I would definitely have to say Fall-N-Tide is my of the BCKFC events. Catch-n-eat style tourney. At the weigh-in, a few of us will clean and cook the day's catch so we can eat while everything is being tallied up. Paddle Palooza is another that is held the same way.

I think I fixed this one for you.

Hi again,
Coming in Fall is OK for me. What kind of fish can I expect to catch ?
Cheers,

Well, we usually target redfish, speckled trout and flounder, but there are many other species that can be caught depending on baits and technique. If you check the photo section, there should be some good examples there.
