You can do OK as a junior member on this site, but you have restricted access and don't see fishing reports, maps, videos, photos, etc. So if you find this is the right place then consider becoming a full member. Novice or expert, you will gain a lot of information here. We are all pretty passionate about the sport, friendly, and don't mind answering questions (although a few members are pretty tight lipped about where they are fishing sometimes--especially as a tournament approaches). There are a good number of folks on here that fish Cypremort and Big Lake, both easily reachable for you. Also lots of members of the Lafayette Club from your area. This time of year i spend more time in a tree than a kayak, but there are lots of folks still fishing. Check the "Hook-up" part of this forum, and the "Let's Fish" section of the Lafayette forum.
