Thinking about hitting Hwy 11 or Twinspans Wednesday. Possibly HTH. Anyone wanna get out and wet a line Wednesday? I'm also open to suggestions If anyone has a better idea. This is a big maybe for me. Right now my schedule is empty for that day, but it could change any time.

Think I may even stay closer to home and hit Lake Martin in Ascension Parish for some perch-jerkin' on the fly. I noticed the little chartreusse colored inch-worms falling out of the trees. Top-water bite oughta be pretty good.

do you know if they are finish with constructions on the south shore of hwy 11? I would like to troll the trestle on the south shore but they've been blocking off that little beach area.

Coomz,
I was out there a month ago and the road was still closed because of all the dump trucks going back and forth. They didn't have a raod closed sign posted, but the trucks were in and out the entire time I was there. No I wasn't fishing, just scouting.

I'd be down for some salty action on Wed. Maybe Mag, Empire, Buras...somewhere on Hwy 23. I haven't heard of a lot happening at Rigolets or Hwy 11 yet.
Anybody else fish it lately?

You may want to launch across from the little truck stop and paddle thru the bayou to the south end of the trestles. It's a little further but no dump trucks to mess with.
