What Blue Chart Map?

Just got a Garmin 440s that takes the SD maps but I am not sure which one to buy. I would think the Gulf of Mexico - Texas to Florida but someone said that if you get the inland lakes you get much better coverage of the shoreline ??? Anyone have and great knowledge you can bestow on me???

i have the blue chart gulf of mexico and its pretty darn good for my purposes (i primarily use it in my powerboat fishing grand isle, lafitte & hopedale.) it is hit and miss in the marsh, but as fast as the marsh changes i doubt any of the gps's have very detailed maps for the little "kayak-y" spots that a lot of us fish.

I can't seem to find the same interactive map for the bluechart, but if you have a specific area you'd like to see the bluechart coverage for i can send you a screenshot from my computer.

hope i can help - those maps aren't cheap. make sure you're getting what you want before you shell out the $$$
