I'm thinking Friday - before the front kicks through and a dark moon - could be really good.

I'm probably fishing Friday or Saturday. Don't know where yet, but may end up there. I'll be posting up something definite Thursday or Friday.

I'll be out Thursday as well-- probably going to launch closer to 0700 (trying to get a few non-regulars out to fish with me).
We got skunked last time so I'm planning to plunk some shrimp in the trout hole. Also would appreciate any recommendations for good spots to try for reds this time of year when the water is super low...
See y'all there, plan on launching at 0600.

Let us know how the water conditions are. The last couple weeks have been low and dirty.

Frustrating day. Reds were all over in the ponds. If I'd had a shotgun, would've loaded the boat.
Only thing I brought in were rat reds. Could not get the biguns to bite.
Slow retreive not doable because of grass.
Some trout by the 1st intersection early. Water was low. Some places very dirty.
I tried live and dead shrimp, should have saved the money. Believe storm minnows may have been better today.
Cast net at launch to get what they are eating may have been a good idea. I believe Domo did pretty good, he had
the magic today.
Almost got stuck in pond across from 1st intersection. Had to take out mirage drive and
paddle around when paddle broke. Glad it had 2 blades. Also Good thing I had the PVC anchor,
used it as a push pole a couple of times.
Watch the falling tide in the real shallows.
