They do, and I am sure they will, as I said those of us who put a lot of effort into the event have lives to and sometimes things like the recap have to take second chair to our real lives and making a living. I fell sure that Steve will make every effort to post as soon as he can. Last I checked this was not life or death, or did I miss the red flash lights and the ambulance. This is the reason I have a problem with tournaments the outcome often becomes more important than enjoying the day on the water. Life is short, learn to enjoy it while you are young!

Dude, I'm trying to help Steve out with posting the results. The sooner I get access to the Google Doc = the sooner everyone sees the results. I'm trying to help him out, thus helping everyone else out. I understand the time that goes into putting on tournaments and doing club events, I understand that everyone has lives. I just happen to have some extra time, so it makes sense for me to help him out.

Well, 21 ain't last.

I just wish I had put that 27-1/4" red on ice and hope it shrank. Looks like competition at the top was pretty steep, but I might have had a chance with that one.

There were soooo many nice reds weighed in, and several big ones that were not weighed due to time limits or being a bit too long. Incredible how an ounce here or there or a few minutes turned the tables.

That's how the exaggeration starts. When they think a 12" er weighs a pound or more, then certainly that 20" fish must have been four pounds.

Fish size is the second thing that is exaggerated by most men!

It's amazing how Marketers can find you. I just got an email stating that if I feed my fish this certain pill.......... it would grow 4# before Weighin. I can get a whole bottle for 29.99 + S & H. I wonder if the effects are cumulative? I could have a 12" 42# Trout.

Looking at a previous thread in which averages were calculated for the past 2 years of Fall N Tide; The results this year show slams were bigger, big reds were slightly down, trout were down, flounder were right on, and leopard reds were brought in with more spots.

http://www.bckfc.org/showthread.php?1974-What-it-takes-to-win-at-Fall-N-Tide

2008-2009 FNT Average weight

Slam:
1st - 12.415 lbs
2nd - 11.04 lbs
3rd - 10.69 lbs

Trout:
1st - 2.56 lbs
2nd - 2.12 lbs
3rd - 1.73 lbs

Redfish:
1st - 7.53 lbs
2nd - 7.15 lbs
3rd - 6.645

Flounder:
1st - 3.315
2nd - 3.105
3rd - 2.63

Leopard Red*:
1st - 12 spots
2nd - 10 spots
3rd - 8-9 spots
*: A 26 spot red was thrown out of my averages on grounds of it being a freak, but now that Tommy caught a 22 spot red, maybe it should be averaged....

I caught 3 slams, 3 flounders 3 specs and 3 keeper reds BUT my biggest red was only 21 inches. I didn't think a 14 inch spec and a 19 inch flounder with that small red would hold up so I split my 19 inch flounder and tied for 1st in that cat. Just LUCK can tell you. Usually cant get even 1 slam much less 3 in one day.

Ben, he was so fat that it wasn't much of a fight. He just sorta layed there. I caught a 25" one that put up a much stronger fight.
