I finally had chance to get it wet Sunday after FnT. I'm impressed/happy. It's much faster than the canoe and tracks well after I modified my stroke. I was used to really digging to move the canoe. A softer, shallower stroke really move the NuCanoe. It also turns on a dime. I still don't know how it will track or drift in a wind but I'm pleased with my purchase. Now it's time to rig it. I know we've got several sponsors who carry such things but in general:
Rod holders: Scotty or Ram? I'm planning 1 out in front of me and then will fab a "rack" to go behind me to hold the rods not in use.
Cam cleats, pad eyes, etc... for anchor system: Is there a preferred vendor for these?
Swivel seat: I plan on fabricating a copy cat of the platform NuCanoe sells but does anyone have any feed back on the actual seats: which are good? Which are bad? I would rather spend a little more money than throw away some money.

Glad to hear it made a positive impression.

As to rod holders... as a righty I like my spare rods angled to port/aft so as to be less likely to interfere with a back-cast. I've found I can accomplish this best by using a mixture of Scotty & Ram. I mounted a Ram tube at port/aft and added a PVC tube to hold a second rod in/on the Ram. Next, on the starboard/aft corner of my milk crate, I added a wooden inverted 'L' to which I mounted a Scotty. Finally, I added a PVC extension tube to my built-in port side rod holder and that allows a fourth rod. This set-up leaves all of my reels angled to port/aft and high above the waterline where they never get dunked. I'm not a fan of having a rod holder in front of me. If I trolled I'd mount one or two up front. Otherwise I find they get in the way especially when/if you break out a fly rod. Your mileage may vary.

I know I've found a good deal and I usually stock up when I find pad eyes close to 50¢ each. At some places they cost more thn $1 each.
