Nice. One friendly suggestion. Put a float on that lip grip if you like it. If not, I guarantee one day it will sink like a rock.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice job. I have as much fun filming video while fishing as I do catching fish. I have an action camera mounted on my cap. I just need to remember to keep my head still. You might try mounting one on your cap so you don't get all the shaking. Check out some of Buddha's videos. Here's one of his best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voulzziclNU

I bought one at Bass Pro for $90 because I didn't already have one. I know that some other members have put plastic screws (available at Home Depot or Lowes) in the bream of a cap. So you don't need to buy a new camera. My wife has a small digital camera that doubles as a video camera. I get the "family" camera that is too big to put on my cap. I used to use my Iphone, which was really hard to video in one hand and fight a 28 inch redfish in the other. I've thought about mounting one on a pvc pipe but prefer to be completely hands free. How did you mount yours? You can use a pvc pipe on a Scotty rod holder. I've checked out several videos on youtube from other kayak fishermen. The ones I crack up over are the ones who mount the camera on a rod holder and all you see if the reaction of the fisherman's face as he reels in the fish. Personally, I'd rather see the fish fighting. Here's the link to my latest video. I still shake my head too much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcjLSvGOqkQ (and talk to the fish too much)
Oh well. Like I said earlier. It's fun! Isn't that why we do this anyway?

I have been in music ministry for probably 35 years (started at 15 when my mom forced me one day when the pianist wasn't there). It's been a very rewarding part of my life. However, musicdoc means I have a Ph.D. (post-hole-digger) degree in music. Seriously, I teach in the diocesan school system (16 years at Redemptorist High School and in my 7th year at St. Michael the Archangel). I am a band director and I play horn in the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra (28th season)

Need to put a band together to play at next big event. Lafayette Club has one and they "jam" before we fish. Always a great event.

I'm in for a jam. Guitar/Bass(electric & upright). Now that means I actually have to find the time to show up to a tournament.
