Went out to University Lake yesterday and finally caught a nice bass. Measured 15.5 inches. Today I think I might try the little pond across the street even though it was packed beyond belief yesterday.
Yak-a-lou, it was nice meeting you yesterday. Thanks again for the water!

Well done Beast!
Good meeting you too!
I must have missed my opportunities at the small pond. When I passed there wasn't a single fisherman there. I guess they arrive for sunset when the sacalait get active. There's reportedly a 12-13# bass in that pond that at least three different people have caught in the past two years. So far everyone has released her as far as I know. Who knows... you might get lucky.

Is the smaller pond any deeper than University Lake?

Crest Lake, the one off Dalrymple that you always see people fishing in, is deeper than Univ. Lake.

Thanks for the map, Ben. Do you have a map like that for University Lake?
