Where Y'ak?

Anyone interested in fishing the Perdido/Pensacola area this weekend?

I have a place just near Perdido and will be there from Thursday night until Sunday. I realize it's Easter weekend, but you can fish Friday and Saturday and be home on Saturday evening. It's about a 3.5 hour drive from New Orleans.

If the conditions permit, I plan to fish off the beach in the Gulf. The cobia migration is starting to show up and warm weather all week should bring some more around. They've also been catching some big reds. It the gulf's too rough, we can fish inshore on some grass flats in the ICW that have some nice reds and trout.

In the back of my place, I have a small, one-room log cabin that has a trundle bed(two single beds), a toilet and a shower. Either two guys or a couple can stay in there. It's a cozy little room that's all decorated with antique fishing and hunting items.

I'm leaving Thursday night and plan to fish Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We'll be fishing in Florida so a temporary non-resident Florida license is about $20.
