Thanks but that's not us on the 9th. I've sent Louis an another email requesting to have us put on the calendar for the 16th. Guess I need to follow up on that again.

Who's the poser club?

It would help if I could read; Gulf Coast Kayak Fishing vs. Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing.....Arkansas education at it's best!

It may be a bit early for this yet but perhaps you could start the running list of who has signed up so far. Not sure if that would be a motivation for early sign up or not...just thinking (barely) out loud.

Mailed waiver.

When I went last year it was my first tourney. I was a bit nervous and elected not to weigh in. I can't wait for this years event. Especially since it literally won't be my first rodeo. Haha

I got that at Paddlepalooza. Last year's FNT I had s second place trout I didn't weigh in. I have been getting progressively better at this tournament thing...now watch me get skunked (haha).

I've never fished Empire before. Is it "canoe friendly" or more of a place where scuppers are required?

There are a lot of places you can use a canoe, I've been using my Native Ulitmate Propel and it doesn't have scuppers.

Empire is just where the weigh-in is. There are lots of areas to fish that are canoe friendly. Check the link to the sign-in sheet and there should be a description of legal boundaries.
