Just a few pics of the day, and a few thoughts.

The food was awesome and there was plenty of it. Thanks for manning that grill Steve, I know you'll sleep well toninght.
Thanks to ALL those who worked so hard to put this event together. Great turnout and once the word gets out I know the next one will be even bigger.

There had to be at least 2 dozen yaks on the water today, and one blue surf yak.
The guys who took this thing out showed some great balance and provided a lot of laughs, thanks.
Thanks Backpacker for bringing all those yaks and congradulations on selling 5 today. Also thanks to all the club members who brought their yaks and for the advice I picked up today.

A special thanks to all the kids who attended. Ya'll are the future of the club and from the turnout today I think the club is in good hands.

Finally to those who couldn't make it, we missed you and hope to see you on the water soon.

Sorry I couldn't attend. Julie's been out of town and was coming home today sooo... I had some house work to do. :)

Great pics Mike. Would also like to thank everyone involved for putting this together. The food was great and the kids liked riding in all the different kayaks. Hopefully we can do this again in the fall. Maybe even a Halloween get together. Thanks again everyone, really enjoyed putting faces to the names on the site.

Sorry I missed it but have been having trouble with migraine's for the past 3 weeks.
Anyone else have them? What is your remedy? I have tried just about every med in the book. Thanks!

barhopper, sorry to hear that. They are rotten. Only prescription meds really do anything for me if I get a true migraine.

Lying in a dark room praying for relief. Haven't had one in years but remember them vividly. I think MDR has nailed it for persistant migraines - go see a doctor.

Go See a good Chiropractor, I had migranes for years tried all kind of things and all kinds of doctors, neurologist, eye surgeons etc. etc. I went to a chiro and fixed it have been going migrane free for about 3-4 years now Dr. Sonnier in Baton Rouge plus He yak fishes so its all good

I've heard about that a chiropractor can help with migranes. I get them on occasion and my Dr. prescribed Treximet. Before that it was cook dark room, praying for relief and sleep.
