truck bed extender

Where do you guys by the truck bed extender to carry your kayak in back of your truck with?
I go to Harbor Freight site on computer and cannot find them.

Is there a store close by and do you know if they have them in store?

Mustard, I got mine from the Harbor Freight on Airline in Metairie. It was not on display, I had to ask someone to check if it was in stock - it was.

I got mine from Harbor Freight in Baton Rouge on Sherwood Forest Blvd....... I had to ask also.

Same thing happened to me. You have to go ask for them. I dont think they keep them stocked on the shelve. They only keep them in the back. I got mine from the Harbor Freight in Baton Rouge.

Seems like there was a club member that was talking about selling a bed extender. Anyone???

I sold one a while back to Sandman. The one I bought was from The Sportsman's Guide. I had never used it and they were not selling them any more. Now I see that they are selling a similar one again.

You may want to check with Sandman to see how it worked out for him.

Got mine at Harbor frieght too, But you can easily fabricate a yak holder out of your Pick-up bed, with a pair of vertical standing 2x4's and a couple braces. Think about it...

I have one from Harbor Freight with lights added that I will sell. The wires for the lights need a little work that I will take care of. That is the only reason I have not posted it for sale. Has pool noddle already on the cross bar. $50 for the setup.

Wish I would have seen yours for sale earlier. Went to Harbor Freight yesterday AM and got one. Already have pool noodle on it and reflective tape. Also bought a red flag to put on end of yak sticking out the bed, beyond the end of the bed extender. Thanks!
