Vacation

Every day while on vacation, I have landed a fish everyday with a fly rod. It is really going to be lousy to get back to work. I have been using hoppers, wolly buggers, and damsels. The water is clear with plenty of grass beds so it is nice to watch the bass and bluegill strike. I really have learned a lot by being able to watch the fish and the action of the fly. Clouser minnows attracted some large bass with tail nibbles, but I could not get the strike.

Magicman.... You do not even want to see the fridge my dad in law has. Side note. Nothing more rewarding than catching a fish in a fly you tied. So freaking cool:)

That's why I only fish with my own flies. Course it means I go hungry more than alot of folks. You're hooked!! Got a tying lesson at Cabelas Monday night. 7:00.

I'll prob hit Waddell later in the week with my 5wt. Been using 8wt here. Wife said no to surfcasting on the beach today. Can't blame her. I've been everyday.
