Just sold my boat this weekend and i'm now looking to buy my first kayak,like to join BCKFG,what are all the benefits of joining other than the good info and help you get here.Thanks.

Besides getting to hang with us ???? Prior link covers it pretty good. You know you have spent money on worse things and this you will not regret!

One of the biggest advantages I can think of would be the map of launch sites and the invaluable information that most members here are more than willing to share.

I joined up before I bought my first yak. I got bit hard after my first trip (thanks revredfish). Sure you have heard this one before but membership does have it's priveledges. The maps alone are worth the cost of membership.

3. Fish cleaned when you drink a cold bev. by senior members
4. No wind, gnats, skeeters, or any pest while fishing
5. First place finish at all toumanents (SP LOL) after the Shoepic guy
6. Rides provided to all fishing locations

Information....how to do it right.....did I say information? Please join. I have not been to any tournaments yet, work out of state too much. But lots of info here. Good luck on the yak buying. Check with the guys here. There are deals to be found.

If you want to see some of the camaraderie take a look at the PPVII unfinished video under the events page. We have a blast here and some GREAT launch areas where i am sure you have passed up with your stinkpot.
